NCC is working under the Navy Wing in PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Vasco. Every year a total of 50 NCC cadets are enrolled in the school, in which there is equal participation of boys and girls. Every Wednesday and Saturday, NCC in-charge Shri Vinod Kumar conducts a parade for the cadets, in which all the cadets are encouraged to follow unity and discipline and develop a passion for patriotism.
These NCC cadets participate in every activity in the school and also give their full support in maintaining the discipline of the entire school. From time to time, the Principal of the school inspects the NCC parade and being a former NCC cadet, he gives a lot of information to the cadets. Classes are also organized for all the cadets in which they are given information about the use of weapons and issues related to the security of the country.
Training is given by Navy officers from time to time. Every year cadets attend the NCC camp organized by the Navy for ten days and after that they receive NCC-A certificate.
