GENESIS

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Vasco da Gama was established on 22/07/1986. Initially it was a primary school with classes from I to V, each class having two sections. Mr.L.R.Patil was the first Principal and RADM. R.V.Singh(AVSM) was the first Chairman of the Vidyalaya.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is committed to nurturing the holistic development of students, ensuring a uniform curriculum and educational standards across all its schools throughout India. The 69 Kendriya Vidyalayas in the Mumbai Region uphold this commitment by placing a strong emphasis on imparting life skills and fostering harmony through child-centric learning activities.
